Our Story (the short version); Andrew Tessari (Drew for short) is third generation toy maker and has been developing children’s products for the toy industry for the past thirty years. In fact, Drew has designed and developed multiple original products throughout his career. What makes Drew unique is the way he brings his ideas to life. Every one of his products has a story behind it.
After launching Great Lakes Toy Company in 2003 in their make-shift factory (a one car garage) Drew, along with his two sons, built and packaged their games. The animal themed board games quickly became the #1 best-selling board games in 2006 and 2007, capturing the attention of several news media outlets as well as THE TODAY SHOW. Working closely with THE TODAY SHOW, Drew donated several pallets of games to orphanages, children’s centers and shelters across the nation. After receiving such gratitude from community leaders from across the country, Drew was compelled to make a change by restructuring his business model and began to look at ways to help nonprofit and charitable organizations in desperate need for funding. With that in mind, Drew created The Tessari Group. A company devoted to helping nonprofit and charitable organizations across the nation.
Now, with a new facility, an excellent team, and the additional original products we offer, we can reach out to many of the nonprofits and charities in the USA and offer unique original custom-made products designed to raise money for their organization.
When Drew and Christine met, they had an instant connection. Their compassion to help nonprofits and charities throughout the country is a shared mission. After Drew saw first-hand the hardships that these nonprofits and charities go through and the services they provide for their communities, he changed his vision for the company. It had created such a drive in Drew that he changed his business mode as well. "These organizations are desperately needed in our communities, and I want to help these organizations thrive in the communities they serve, so I created a company to do just that".
Christine received her degree in Nursing and spent the last 20 years helping people in that capacity. Christine's drive to become a nurse stemmed from her own real-life event. Christine's second son was born with spina bifida and was confined to a wheelchair for the rest of his life. She found out firsthand how to care for a child with a disability. From her many years of experience dealing with a variety of health issues with her son, and the help of the Tessari Group, for which she is the Vice President, the Trey Roy Foundation was created. This was created to help individuals with disabilities who are in need of more specialized equipment than can usually be provided to them by their insurance or local organizations. Drew and Christine have also become writers and now write books together. Their first release of TESSARIA, (the first book in a three-book series) is set for January. Drew and Christine make an awesome team and their desire to help others in need is a drive they both share. As always, proceeds will go to the Trey Roy Foundation. The Tessari Group is a private company that provides fundraising products for nonprofit and charitable organizations across the nation. We’ll even create special product bundles to sell at your fundraising event.
